Montana Bear Breaks Into Sedan, Reviews Are Mixed
A bear in Montana was caught on camera breaking into a parked car, proving once again that no factory security system was designed with claws in mind.
TMZ reports the footage shows the animal forcing entry and rummaging around inside the vehicle, in scenes now circulating online as 'wild video.' No word yet on what, if anything, the bear made off with.
Webster has reviewed similar footage dozens of times this year, bears in cars, bears at fire stations, bears attempting trash can theft, and has begun to suspect Montana wildlife simply enjoys human clutter more than actual food.
Old Scoot, a bison who has grazed the same stretch of land for the better part of a decade, watched the incident from a nearby fence line and had thoughts on proper break-in etiquette.
The car's owner has not commented. The bear, similarly, remains unavailable for follow-up.
“Saw the whole thing from the fence, that bear popped the door handle like he'd done it a hundred times, probably has. I've knocked over a mailbox or two myself, but at least I had the decency to do it in broad daylight.” — Old Scoot, resident bison
